Chen Wenling

	1969 Born in Anxi, Fujian, China 1991 Graduated from Xiamen Academy of Art and Design 1994 Completed study in Sculpture Dept, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China Currently lives and works in Beijing and Xiamen, China

Chen Wenling packages the world he sees as a legend, allowing funny looking roles to narrate the beauty and darkness of the world, all with the appearance of high morality. This is the power of legend, it allows you to grasp the ethical bottom line even as your soul is stirred, to feel the sorrow of worldly emotions, be moved, sigh with emotions, be grateful and sigh.
The worldly happiness or happy worldliness has already become Chen Wenling’s symbol. Chen Wenling chooses a smooth touch and the inflated look of fiberglass to extend his spirit, moreover, he throws it into the reality of contemporary Chinese society, he narrates a worldly fable of desire and human nature, inflation and reflection.
